We created a community where people in need of help can find qualified workers to get work done. Once the connection is made between a worker and work provider, we step back and give the worker and their client all the power.
We firmly believe in integrity and security. Thus, we give our users the tools to make connections and have secure interactions, but we do not get in the way of good work.
No Middlemen
Founded on trust and integrity, WRK is a fully independent system controlled by our users. WRK is a tool that leverages the latest payment technology, Stripe Connect, to manage the funds and transfers from clients to workers.
By using Stripe Connect payment technology, we provide our users with the most secure and flexible virtual interaction.
Before work can begin, funds are deposited into the system. After that, WRK Live Actions enable us to have a fully-independent system without acting as a middleman.
WRK Live Actions
We are the only work platform that includes live payment interactions while work is ongoing.
Clients can issue partial payments to workers and cancel work (canceling requires a fee) while the work is being completed. They can also submit a change in payment. However, the change must be higher than the initial agreed upon amount. Finally, once work is completed and the client is satisfied with the results, the client can submit the final payment to the worker**.
Hence, WRK gives workers and work providers all the tools to create working relationships in an independent system.
For example, payments received on a Tuesday are paid out by Thursday, and payments received on a Friday are paid out by Tuesday.
If your business operates in a higher-risk industry, this schedule may not be immediately available.
Ratings System
At WRK, good work does not go unnoticed. We believe that the best clients and workers should be rewarded.
As a result, workers and clients are required to rate each other after work is completed.
Workers are given a 1 to 5-star rating on their timeliness, competency, cleanliness, and professionalism. In addition to the star rating, they are also required to leave a written review. Work providers are given a 1 to 5-star rating on data accuracy, timeliness, and pleasant experience.
Users with the best ratings will be in the highest demand. Consequently, workers and work providers can earn a positive reputation by doing good work and treating people right.
Workers for Everyone
WRK’s community features many different workers with diverse sets of skills. We have drivers with offerings like car, delivery, and towing services. We also have users with life and beauty skills like personal trainers and make-up artists. Plus, we have an extensive line-up of private and commercial workers like plumbers and carpenters.
